The short version

UK law (PECR) says we need your permission before setting cookies that aren’t strictly necessary. So we ask — two buttons, no tricks — and nothing optional runs until you say yes.

What the banner controls

One thing: the Meta Pixel. If you accept, it helps us see which of our adverts led to visits and enquiries, so we spend our advertising money on what works. If you decline, the pixel never loads. The site works identically either way.

What runs regardless

• Your consent choice — so we don’t ask you on every page.
• A first-party attribution cookie — remembers which advert or link first brought you here, for 90 days. It stays on our site, goes nowhere else, and is attached to your enquiry only if you make one.
• The shop cart — kept in your browser’s local storage so your cart survives a page reload. It never leaves your browser until you check out.
• Shopify checkout — if you buy something, checkout happens on Shopify, which sets its own cookies to run the transaction. Those are covered by Shopify’s privacy policy.

One thing the banner can’t switch off

When you submit an enquiry, our server reports that conversion to Meta directly — no cookies involved. That’s explained plainly in the privacy policy, along with how to object.

Changing your mind
