THE EXTERIOR FLAGSHIP

The colour is the material.

A silicone render is not paint on a wall. The colour runs through a 1–3 mm topcoat, top to bottom — scratch it and it is the same shade underneath. Painted walls chalk and go green on the north side; this stays the colour signed off on the sample panel. Specified as a system, never as a single tin.

THE INTERIOR FLAGSHIP

Decostucco, burnished to a mirror.

San Deco publishes Decostucco as an acrylic emulsion based interior coating carrying quartz limestone and pigments — the marble effect the interior flagship is built on. Laid over Decoprimer, waxed, then drawn up with a steel trowel until the wall gives the room back to itself. That is a finished DAROS wall, not a sample.

THE MATERIAL HOUSE

SAN DECO

Founded in 1965 by Ziya Odabaş, San Deco began in industrial lime — kilns first, decoration later. That order matters, because lime is what real Venetian plaster is made of.

Sixty years on, the house still burns and slakes its own material, and its coatings are specified across Europe and the Gulf. The UK warehouse only opened in 2023.
